Finally got it done!!!
Thanks guys...
Yeah a new turbo would be nice but I want ot just get this tuned for some good power then fix up some other stuff around the car, upgrade the brakes, and better suspension.
As for prep of the block it was pretty damn clean after comming back from GE so it just wiped it down and sprayed. On normal used motors, I strip the block down bare bring it out side with a paint brush and a coffee can of gas and brush all the greese and shyte off it first. then bring it back in and blow it off with air, then give it a final wipe down allover with lacure thinner and them tape up the non painted areas and spray away.
You have to use high heat engine paint or it''s come right off. Only problem is with engine paint your some what limited with colors, not too bad though.
Alot of people been liking the bligin' paint it's kinda funny, it was just an after thought as I was waiting for parts and wanted to start on it somehow. We always paint V8 blocks in my garage so I just decided I'd give it a try on this one.
I got a black on black civic with bronze wheels and gold touches here and there so I just kept with the theme.
JDM gold..LOL didn't think of that..heh
