Default few questions about my turboed D15

I recently turboed my Del Sol S (D15b7).. after a few days of breaking everything in and somewhat tuning my SMC+ , I have gotten on it a lil bit. It really pulls hard around 4k but starts to die off around 5500-6000. The boost stays at 6psi, but it feels like its not pulling as hard. Is this normal, am I running to rich/lean?
Also I plan on going to the track this friday. Is it safe for me to run on 100 octane? And what should I expect to run at the track?

Here is my setup: D15b7
- Garrett T3 turbo bolted to HF manifold with 2.5" downpipe.
- 450cc injectors tuned with SMC+.
- Eclipse 2g side mount intercooler.
- TurboXS RFL blow off valve with 2.5" charge pipes.
- Stainless steel AN-3 oil lines and AN-4 coolant lines.
- Homemade boost controller set @ 6 psi.
- Autometer Phantom boost and air/fuel guage.
- 2 1/4" catback exhaust

make sure u are getting enough fuel.. my boy has the same setup... well drag kit but we put a t3 .42 with .48 clipped AR. his rides out pretty nice.. one time we didnt have the fuel pump on (he is still on FMU setup ) and right at 5000rpm there was no fuel and that bitch didnt go anywhere..

Ahh memories..(i had the same turbo on my old d15b7)...
Anyways that turbo imo is matched perfectly to that engine...spools soon and makes decent power for a d15.
without knowing your air/fuel ratio it's hard to diagnose the problem. It could be several things. you could be to rich, you could need a tune up,etc..
When i first started my turbo project way back when. All i had for fuel managment was a b&M fpr cranked up to 60psi .....nothing else. I ran 5psi like that for about 8 months before selling the engine (currently in another car still running strong) and starting a real turbo project (somewhat better fuel managment, different engine and larger turbo).......maybe i'm crazy or lucky but the plugs came out fine (not lean)...no detonation..and the car has about 150k on it now (was boosted between 110k and 120k, sold it at 120k and now has over 150k)..

my air/fuel guage shows that im 3-4 bars rich in from the stoich area.. It stays in that same area from 3-7k rpm.

autometer guages are POS. to get a good reading u need a lambada meter... hop on the dyno somewhere.. only thing i use my autometer guage for is a guestmate.. if its red and your getting on it stop...
