hey guys i have a accord with f22b1 vtec motor turbo with a t3/t4 57trim with fic 550cc on 10psi. well in a few weeks im geting the car retuned and i wanted to kno whats the max boost i can run on this stock motor with the 57trim turbo and 550cc injectors on 93 oct.

 

I wouldn't want to go much over 250whp without at least some arp headstuds.

300 is totally doable, but like mentioned arp headstuds (Get the H23 studs) arew cheap insurance

 

I would agree 300 is do-able and hp/ trq is a better way to talk about what a motor can do than boost pressure.

ARP studs are cheap insurance when you push 300ish area or better. How much the stock motors are good for is debateable but more than a few of us including myself and extralargenog have pushed well past the 300 mark on stock motors/ pump gas.

garrett t3/ 60-1@ 15ish psi or there about if I remember correctly. 335whp on the dyno.

 

So your asking how much boost the turbo can create? Or how much power the stock motor can handle? Depending on tuning of the ignition and fuel...lotss of boost could be thrown at it. Good tune allows for more boost, forged internals allows for even more but it's the torque the engine actually makes that breaks things, not psi. Go for a HP or Torque goal and slowly up the boost as you tune, that will tell you what it can make and handle. Like others are saying 300hp is pretty common on the f22b1, I wanna say they are around 15-20 psi.
