I'm sorry, but that is a retarded comment to make. NO offense, but do a little reading. I see way to many honda guys asking "how many psi can I run with XXX done". They don't even mention the turbocharger parameters they plan to use.
What I mean is this. Take a stock d16 for example. BOlt a t-25 to it and run 10 psi of boost. Its happy, as it should be. That setup with a nice little dsm sidemount and good fueling couuld provide lets say 180 whp.
Take the same exact motor, and put a big 16g turbo on it and run 10 psi of boost. Were talking talking a lot more LBS/min of air here folks. The boost is cooler, and the motor is going to eclipse the fragile 200 hp limit on that motor. Even without detonation the rods will probably snap the first time it sees 220 hp, which wouldn't be hard with a small 16g.
So, their you have it. Maybe you should be asking "how much cylinder pressure can my stock motor handle?" This can roughly be converted to "how much torque can my motor handle if it doesen't detonate".
I was running up to 18 psi on the stock 14b turbo that comes on my eclipse. If you think I could run 18 psi on a 60-1 garret on the same exact motor, then you really shouldn't turbocharge your car at this moment.

Re: how much boost can the f22 hold? (danl)
is anyone going to provide some helpful info?
he said he's planning on using a T3....a junkyard setup, he'll probly be getting it off of a t-bird or something similar. I can't really provide any helpful information, but you pretty much told him how much power a D16 can handle, and he didn't even ask that question......basically what i think he's asking is should his motor be able to handle a little boost?

Re: how much boost can the f22 hold?
H22 and F22 are two diffrent things H22 has FRP (I think thats what its called) on the cylinder walls and F22 has normal walls... But im wondering the same thing about an F22 cause im switching from a built D16 Vitara build and moving over to the F22 that im going to run stock. Looking at the rods on a F22 look pretty strong and if anything ill just swap the spare set of H22 eagles I have and Mits 4g63 pistons in and have a fun street car ( like a vitara build)
But ok on to my question and correcting the question on the man above How much power will F22 rods hold?

Re: how much boost can the f22 hold?
still waiting for an answer.....j/k sold my accord a long time ago and ended up doing an H22 swap instead of boosting. Funny.
