external v. internal wastegates
Im' piecing together a turbo for a ZC (D16A8) for a CRX. Leaning towards a T04E50 wheel with 10psi. Possibly a GT25R or GT28R. I'm want to know if there are any advatages to an internal wastegate vs external. External I'd probably go with a 38mm tial unit. Any other advice for a newbie would be aprreicated. I've been doing some reading about compression maps, BSFC, VE, PR, lbs/min, etc, so I know a little about it. Thanks.
hey man wassup???? supposedly when you run an open wastegate set up you are supposed to be making more power than the waste gate dumping into the DP... why beacause when it dump to the atmosphere is doesnt interupt the exhaust flow and pulsing patterns comming out of the DP... so yes i would go open waste gate...

i personally love the sound of open DP, sounds mean as hell
