wastegate question

Re: wastegate question (VASlowTec)
They both have their uses in perticular applications.
If your going for high HP an external WG is usually nessesary. It has advantages in adjustability and are usually able to flow more exhaust gases around the turbine wheel. Most of the people on this board (especially if parting a turbo system together) opt for the external WG because they are targeting for more HP and future upgrades.
Lower boost street turbo systems work fine with internal wastegates. It is not like htey are un-useable or anything.
