i have a turboed b16a2 im looking to get a hondata with a p75 obd1 ecu. my question is how i would get the non-vtec,7000 redline p75 to work with my vtec 8000 redline engine. or is this something that i souldnt worry about? if any one has any input please help me out thanks

 

regardless of what the stock parameters of the ecu are, once you go to hondata, you can change any of that! Do some research on obd1 ecu tunning. Heck, download the free stuff and just start messing around with it!! just stay away from your ecu if you don't know waht you are doing! What are you using for fuel management currently?

 

haha i definently had no intention of working on the ecu by myself, but i just didnt want to find out later when i took it to my tuner that it wouldnt work or somthing. thanks for the input though. i would like to learn more about it though, if u have any links or anything that would help me out that would be greatly appreciated. its currently just on a fmu and missing link...bleh haha

 

if your running a vtec motor a p75 will not work you need a p72 or p28 if obd1

 

so it will or will not work?
