Engine building question
I am about to build my engine later this week and I have heard mix things about using the Permatex Copper spray gasket on the head gasket. My boss thinks its a bad idea but the machine shop we get all of blocks done at uses it on all of their motors they build. I know that the LS/VTEC's leak oil some times around the number 4 cylinder by the exhaust manifold. I want to use this stuff to prevent any possible chances of an oil leak. What do you think and has anyone used the stuff before? Here is the link to the product.

We actually use that same brand, but it is a purple tacky spray called spray-a-gasket I think? We used it just to add with keeping oil and coolant in their proper spots
It can't hurt any...

if you want to spray your headgasket with something then use hylomar..its only about 300 times better than copper spray.
