A couple Questions about rebuilding Engine?
When rebuilding my engine, what should I use to seal around the oil pump and the cover at the opposite end of the block? Would just regular RTV be fine? Also for a built engine should i replace the exhaust manifold gasket? I have seen them re-used so I'm not sure on home necesary this is. Lastly, what is a good assembly lube to use if the engine probably wont be started for a while?
Thanks,
Craig

Re: A couple Questions about rebuilding Engine? (VanHonda)
i used rtv after i rebuilt my engine this summer because of a nos problem. im sure the hondabond stuff is "better" but rtv has worked for the past rebuilds ive did on v-8s and has worked on my honda b16 since last summer.

Instead of the official honda-bond you can just use "Permatex Ultra Grey" I believe it's the same stuff, yet cheaper
