Heres the deal...I've been doing some street tunning to get my car under control. Obviously a dyno would be best but im poor.
Heres the deal..
VAFC set to 38 Percent across the board...
DSM 450 injectors
255 High Flow fuel
timing set at 14 degrees at idle..
I heard that our tegs max egt is 1400 degrees...Is this correct becuase this is when im shutting the car down...
Also..my egt probe is in cylinder 1 about 2 inches away from the head
This is the fuel control im running...And yes i know i need to get hondata.
But anyways...
Lets say im running on the interstate going 60mph...and I do a 4th gear pull at WOT....at the 60 mph mark im running 1200 degrees on the egt in 4th...
I shut it down right when I get to 1400 degrees...Now heres the issue...I have a pocketlogger so im recording the timming and the o2 sensor...
I get this:
o2 .91v
timing is 13 plus or minus 1 degree.
I also moved my stock timming back to the standard 16 degrees...
And it helped somewhat but no major change..
-Why is my egt skyrockting?
-This pull only last for roughtly a few seconds as well
-Im running 8lbs of boost on a t3/t4.
When I adjust the other fuel trims the same thing happens...expect my o2 values change slighty but the egts still take off even when I lean or richen the mix...
I am lost any ideas?
Thanks
