Efficiency limit on .50 trim t3/t04e?
I'm running a Garrett t3/t04e, .50 trim, .53 a/r with a stage 3 exhaust wheel on my SE-R and I wasn't sure at what level the turbo will be out of it's efficiency range. The turbo has seen 15 psi safely, and I didn't know how much more the turbo could actually take before beginning to be unreliable.

I don't recall at the time "how" to read the pressure ratio, but that'll get you going.

15psi would ~equal 2.00 on that compressor map. A 2.0L motor would be in the peak effeciency range at 7k rpm (about 28lbs/min) and a 2.5L motor would be at about 78% at ~32lbs/min at 7k rpm. Basicly, it should be a good match. Good flow, low lag, very good effeciency.
That's of course you planned on running 15psi. To figure different psi's, the way to get the ratio is this: [(14.7+psi you run)/14.7] If you ran at 8psi (1.60 ratio) on a 2.0L or especially a 2.5L motor, at 7k rpm's it will be running into the not so good range. If you want a bigger turbo, I'll buy yours for $275
