Garrett T3/T04E Turbo
-Rebuilt Garrett T3/T04E Turbocharger
-.50, 57 or 60Trim Compressor Wheel
-.50 or .60 A/R Compressor Housing**
-.48, .63 or .82 A/R Turbine Housing Option
-Stage 1, 2 or 3 Turbine Wheel
-Internal Wastegate Option (.48 A/R Housing Only)
thinking about the 50 trim compressor with a .63 exhaust a/r. thoughts?

Man U FTW
i would suggest the GT3255e for that setup...its enough turbo to make 400whp but still spools fast and has nice midrange. All it basically is, is a 57 trim that spools faster than a 57 trim

why not buy a legit brand new garrett instead of some unknown rebuild? its only around 100 dollars more.
forget psi, how much power do you want to make? they can all boost up to 15psi.

its not too big, we cant help you unless you give us some type of power goal you intend on reaching. a gt30r can supply enough air for 500+whp but its not necessary if your goals are only 350whp.

why do you have a psi goal? get a turbo that will be in its efficiency range for your given power, and think about growing room also if you got other future plans.

Re: (quicksilver1689)
My 81.5mm b16 at 17psi made 360whp with some room to go on a 50 trim(.63 A/R). Honestly it seems to be a great turbo for the street and the spool was excellent i prefer it over some of the larger turbos that you have mentioned

Re: (urbansi)
why doy ou have a PSI goal? id much rather have a slightly bigger turbo and run less boost to just stay safe. but then again, as long as you have a good tuner it shouldn't really matter.
turbo wise, i say choose from the gt32 family. there are internal gated turbos and externally gated turbos from that family. hp from them are 200 all the way to 400+ but they are a twin scroll turbo, so having that manifold might bite you in the ***.
if you dont want twin a twin scroll turbo then i say choose from the gt30 family. specifically i would get the gt3071r. here are the specs on that turbo http://www.turbobygarrett.com/...R.htm
have fun and boost safe

if 350whp is all you want then get the 50 trim, with a .63 a/r hot side. if you can spring for it maybe get a gt28rs with a .63 A/R t3 housing.
if you want more down the line then those turbos will be too small.
i would be pushing more than 350whp if it were my built ls/vtec but thats just me.

I was comparing your dyno graph to mine and it looks like my 57 trim spools faster then your GT3255e. Mine is on a ls while yours is on a gsr so I'm not sure if theres a big difference or not.

That will make a difference.
