but alot of the ebc's are known to fail and malfunction. im going to stick with mbc's. someone please add some insight on the turboxs'

The same can be said about MBC's. Most of the EBC problems are due to user install or user setup error. I have never had a problem with the EBC's I have installed and setup.

Agreed, MBC's are known for spiking, and when you boost 7psi at day you may be at 9 or 10psi at night, they cannot compensate for changes in weather. A good EBC is much better in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, there are alot of bad EBC's out there, such as the Profec-B Spec II, but ironically, I think the Spec I is one of the best out there.

Anybody use the new Greddy Profec S yet? I'm looking into this one because of the stories I've heard about the Spec 2 being hard to use.

Yeah, I noticed that too, it says its back to the Spec I roots, but I dont want to be the guinea pig to see if it still has the issues.

I've heard the same thing, that its too smart for its own good. The original Profec B is still the best choice for the money

spiking boost at night, is what im wondering about. how well can the turboxs standard or high performance withstand this?
