anybody know where i can get a dumb tube welded on to my downpipe?? will muffler shops do it?

 

yeah they will.

 

If you find a good muffler shop, they could do it for you. I brought them 1.5" pipe because they didnt have any that small. They got it to bend just right and clear my AC compressor... Took them the good part of two hours because they kept asking me questions about everything, especially the 'big silver thing' (wastegate) that was in the way.

here is a pic, it is crush bent but i didnt think that would matter too too much for the application im using it for.

 

damm 2 hours?? how much they charge you??

 

35 bucks.. it only took two hours because they kept calling all of their yokel redneck friends over to see all the 'gizmos'

 

What is that on the vacum tube coming off the sideport of the wastegate? Duct tape?

shhhhhhhh. yes it is. The vac line is old, and when the hose closed it wore through it...I got new line on there now, the old line was too short and wouldnt come from the other side.

 

where did u get the 1.5 inch piping? im guessing its electrical conduit or something right? i gotta get mine too...

I just got mine from pep boys... they had 1.5 pipe in stock.
