Default Driving without downpipe?

heres the senario. Im putting on my turbo and i got every thing done besides the downpipe. now i got a d16 wit a 14b on a hf mani and the down pipe is very simple to make. 2 90 degree bends with some other measurements. however i know it would be alot better for the shop to mock it up with everything there insted off my diagrams and measurements. So here is my question. How bad is it to drive without a downpipe? I know heat might be a factor, but the shop is about 10 miles away

it is loud as expletive, I had to do the same thing except my shop was only like 2 miles from me. Put some type of heatshield there tho temporarily cuz u will probably melt your radiator fan
