Ok.. I found it... Cracked Downpipe.. Who has had one and can it cause the vibration I am feeling???
I have two cracks in my downpipe. I am wondering if this could cause the vibration I feel in my front end?? I only get the vibration when I am at about 4000 RPM and accelrating hard. I dont get it driving normal at any speeds. Just WOT at around 7-9psi after around 4K... I am not losing any boost...Could it be a turbo bearing going out?? I havent a clue if any of these could cause the vibration.. Please shed some light..

how did you crack your downpipe??? do you have a flexpipe???

I dont have flexpipe.. It is the dp that came with the drag III kit.. I have no idea how I cracked it, but it is cracked....

Maybe it smacks the crossmember. Is it close enough to do that?

you should get a flexpipe cuz when you gunning your car your engine torques up and puts stress on your manifold and downpipe and either one will crack...

This may be a dumb question, but where does the flexpipe go. I am currenting running a straight pipe between my dp and exhaust. Could I just go to a muffler shop and have this done???

Any muffler shop should be able to do it. You could put where your straight pipe is...

you def need a flex pipe or else it will constantly crack,your lucky it didnt crack the manifold yet,this is part of the reason drag manifolds got a bad rap cause of cracking..best way besides a flex pipe is too use a slip joint like honda installed stock on your car,you know,the flange that had the two bolts with springs on it,only problem is finding them in a larger size like 2.5" or 3" also its a good idea to add a bracket or two to support that downpipe.

broken motor mount could cause it...wait, didn't you just change the axle recently? That's your problem right there, seen it at least 30 times. BTW, I have a DRAG downpipe FS, 90 bucks shipped

i have cracked my downpipe two times now. I have a revhard downpipe. really a big pos. I am going to have to get a new one made cuz i am guessing it will only last another 1000 miles.
They normally break because of stress from the motor/exhaust moving. A flex pipe will help if you dont have one.
I got mine fixed (rewelded) at a local muffler shop for $5 each time.

sometimes if they are not rebuilt right (very common with aftermarket replacement axles), they will wobble at high rpm or high speeds. Replacing the axle with another fixes it. If you want that d/p, let me know, it's brand new, never used, and sitting on my floor collecting dust.
