Default Driving to get downpipe welded.

Ok my setup is basically done, all that I have left to do is to drive it to the nearest muffler shop. Problem is, the shop is 3 miles away... It's going to run open DP the entire way. I also don't have the o2 sensor plugged in due to the fact that I was running it without a cat and the bung was welded into a section of the header. So it's going to be running open DP and running really rich cuz the o2 sensor isn't plugged in. Now, what problems do I face doing this? Besides running a really loud car. I just don't want anything bad happening to my motor.

It's not bad at all. I've been running open downpipe for weeks and the only thing I notice is the turbo spooling fast and some noise that isnt a big deal

I had to drive 10-15mins to a muffler shop without a downpipe. IT was loud as **** but nothing was wrong with my engine. Pulled hard after I got the exhaust and downpipe

Thanks guys. I was afraid that without the O2 sensor hooked up, the fuel would be flooding the engine causing some problems. But there shouldn't be any right?

It'll be fine, but yes it will run way rich. It wont hurt anything but yeah you dont want to be driving around in open-loop mode for like weeks, it'll cause super carbon buildup everywhere and yield shitty miles per gallon

do you mean open dp or no dp.

because the title says to get the dp put on.

if you dont have a dp, i would highly suggest you do not drive it.
