Default Downside to 2 BOV's?

I was thinking about putting 2 BOV's on my Custom Setup.

1 Would be right by the Intercooler, by the opening in the bumper...The Other would be closer to the Throttle Body.

Questions:

Would this hurt anything?

Will it be louder this way?

Thanks,

Suprdave

Not sure that would work.....would it? I would't think the one farther from the TB would ever open.

I don't think it would be too practical...the main purpose of a BOV is to relieve pressure from the intake track at closed throttle. One should be sufficient to do the job unless you're boosting some crazy amounts of pressure like 60+ psi..... Having two BOVs on a standard setup will just be wasteful, and as mentioned earlier probably the first one would release the pressure before the second one even opens...and since the woooshhh sound is produced by the air pressure..having only one would make it louder...

Well, to kinda answer my own question...

A BOV has a certain amount of air it can release. So, if your making insane boost...or Normal Boost, but you have small BOVs...they will both Open.

But Im thinking of using the Turbosmart Supersonics...So I'm sure one would be sufficient.

Thanks for the Input,

They look a lot like TurboXS. A LOT...except I bet TurboXS prices are better. Got mine for $100

i know of a few supra guys who have 2 blow off valves but its just because one cant do the job good enough.. of course they are boosting 18psi on pump gas and 27psi on race gas so for u i think it would be pointless..
