Dont Kill me..but fuel question with Hondata and 10psi..
I need some help with my fuel system for a turbo gsr motor. I am going to be using 440cc injectors and running about 10 psi of boost. My question is this...do I need to go with an high pressure intank pump and pressure regulator(aem, aeromotive) with this boost level? I will be using hondata 2b and I have heard that some use stock regulator and pump and some were saying to upgrade to pump and regulator. I know this fuel thing has been beaten to death, but I searched and I really want to make sure my fuel is right because I do not want to blow the motor when I get it in and boosted...Thanks

I would get a larger intank fuel pump, like the Walbro - dont risk using the stock pump. The stock fpr is questionable.... I'm using the stock fpr now, and no problems, but I may change it down the road.

I would defintely get a in tank fuel pump and you can get away with using your stock fuel pressure regulator

I'm going to do something like this too. I've got a warlbro 255 intank... will I still need the inline pump? I used the intank and inline pump on my turbo b18c setup (/w FMU.... it didn't get enough fuel with just the intank upgraded... still needed the inline), but now that I'm standalone... do I need the inline?

hondata recommends you get a 1:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator with their system.... don't ask me why, that's just what they told me i should get. i use the aem regulator.

the oem regulator is a 1:1 You wont need a high pressure pump on 10psi, as you wont be seeing high fuel pressures. I've got several cars running 15psi with the stock pump.

It depends on the regulator. I have tested 3 OEM units (Keihin NR-1's all from the 99-00 Civic Si) and 2 did NOT rise under boost. The one that did rise under boost was about 0.7:1

I have an in-car fuel pressure gaauge on my 94 gs-r turbo/hondata. The stock regulator works fine (on my car), rises with boost. Anything over 10 psi and the fuel perssure falls off as boost rises. go with 255 hp walboro and stock regulator and you can tune any fuel you need in or out. but you will need a 1:1 reg. the gs-r motor is an amazing motor. i am currently running 12 psi on a stock honda motor with a 40 shot of nitrous on top of that (race gas of course), on hondata 450's. good luck.
