Default does it matter which way the BOV is facing?

right now its facing towards my headlight. i want to face it towards the engine. is that possible?

also, is there suppose to be a gasket between the manifold and the wastegate?

thanks. what about the gasket? is there suppose to be a gasket between the wastegate and manifold?

why do you want it to face the engine? sound? - is there a benefit?

because the BOV is 3 inches away from my bulbs.

it doesn't really matter where the bov faces, what kind of waistgate do you have, i know the hks waistgate needs a gasket but not sure on others, it wouldn't hurt, but unless you are having some kind of exhaust leak it doesn't really matter.

It doesn't matter which way your bov faces. I would run a gasket just to be safe

btw, for the guy that asked, i gotta 35mm tial wastegate. is there suppose to be a gasket?

You really dont need a gasket but if you like just go to your local auto parts place and get a tube of cooper paste gasket maker

Some say it's not needed and others (like myself) always use a gasket. I use ATP's. It has a fire ring and it's only a couple of dollars. I've never had any issues w/ exaust leaks either.
