no, you need something to regulate the flow.

If you keep the fuel pressure stock, the stock pump will be good for about 250 whp.

A lot of people recommend you have one. Especially for the AFC hack. That said, you dont NEED one. You can get by with out it. The way I see it, walbro's are so cheap you might as well get one anyway.

well..i heard walbro doesnt make a kit for the 88-91 civic/crx..they just ghetto rig it to make it fit. i know the 1g dsm one will fit...i dont know if its safe to use a used fuel pump.

No what you heard was false. Walbro does make a kit for the 88-91 Civic/CRX, I know because I just ordered one last week and installed it the other day. I bought it from Lightning Motorsports they have a deal for H-T members, it is $89 shipped for the 255 lph, which would be good for you. Got it in 2 days too . The only downside to it, is that you have to drop the gas tank to install it on our cars. It is 2 nuts and 2 bolts holding it on though. Just make sure you are as close to empty as possible so it's easier to do. HTH

what do you mean the mounting for the fuel pump? the walbro? the walbro fits perfect with the little rubber gasket they give you. You have heard a lot of wrong things about the walbro pump man.
