is it possible to use an intank fuel pump from a 1G DSM in a civic, I heard that it flows better than the stock pump.

I dont know if the DSM fuel pumps are the same as the walboro 255, but I do know that they will fit in your civic.

I had a fuel pump from a '97 gsx in my CX with a b18cR motor and a 70 shot.

I've also heard that the fuel pumps from 5.0 mustangs fit.

Nah I have gobs of dsm driving friends that change out there dsm pumps for walboro 255 pumps. I also have a friend with a dsm pump in his b20 swapped civic. So yeah they will work, and no i dont think there the same as a walboro.

they look almost the same... im gonna check with my buddy soon. he wants to trade his turbo dsm pump for my 255 walbro + cash. fyi, a hayabusa in tank pump is IDENTICAL to a civic pump in shape and fittings. i just has different wiring. dunno how much is flows tho

a DSM fuel pump is not the same as a walbro 255 or even a 190. it's rated at ~150. it does fit into civics and a gob of other cars tho.

the guy I bought my pump from said that it could handle ~300hp. I will be putting the pump on my na b18b civic but plan to go turbo and make about 250whp. What do you guys think, will the pump be ok for that?

I own 2 DSMs and no it will not support 300hp at the wheels, maybe at the crank but you would be close to maxing out the flow of it. Why else would everyone with a DSM swap out their fuel pumps for walbros. I have a 12 second 2G and a 13.8 first generation Laser with a fuel pump (255lph) and no cat at 15psi.
