Determine spool time, how to...
I'm gonna be purchasing a turbo, and I'll like to know how can I determine spool time? or if anyone can recommend a turbo, or ar trims that I need, that starts spoolling at about 3000-3500 and maybe comes to a full spool at about 4500+++?
I'm gonna resleeve my B17A block to 84 or 84.5mm and use 9.0-9.66:1 pistons. The difference in th numbers is b'coz I'm still choosing between JE pistons or Endyne's Roller-Wave

I'm not sure if there is a definitive way to calculate spool time of a given turbo because there are so many variables in any given engine setup.
There is some good info in this post:

Paul (slow_ass_4dr) can get the same turbo for you for a good price except that it has a .60 a/r compressor housing and a 57 trim compressor wheel. It's a little bigger than the turbo that Louis mentions in the above thread, but it'd probably work well for you.
