Decisions decisions...
My B18C6 in my ITR has one of the stock sleeves cracked all the way through and so it needs new sleeves. The JEs pistons and Eagle Rods survived so I plan to use these again. Should I:
a) Resleeve the ITR block with Darton/Benson etc.. sleeves and use the JEs and Eagles back in after it has been resleeved, OR
b) Drop in a used bone stock B18C1 with stock sleeves and use the JEs and Eagles from my blown block. Re-build the ITR block with stock sleeves or the like and sell it off as a long block at a later stage.
Funds are very short at the mo as I'm moving house and I've got my eye on an NSX as well, hence my option for b) as a used B18C6 is fairly cheap. I'm only planning on getting about 400whp+ out of it once its back on the road so I think stock sleeves should be OK.
Suggestions?

This block is fixable with Benson sleeves. Some custom welding will need to be done by Benson which will run an extra $100 above the sleeving cost. New sleeves with the final bore and hone runs $950 plus $50 on return shipping. So in your case, with welding, you are looking at $1100 to fix. No align bore would be necessary and the welding will make the block as good as new.
