D16 complete build
Got off ebay, I don't remember the name of the seller but I will try to find it later. They look like any other gaskets I have seen as far as quality.
If you can try to look at Cometic for the HG, I went with these because my motor was already at the machine shop and I didn't want to wait for a Cometic. Also was having a hard time finding the stock size.

^^^ do not listen to the guy who said get a camber kit. all you need to do its take it in for a wheel alignment. their is a thread on honda tech saying camber kitts are not needed u just need the tow zeroed out. so save the dough for some thing ealse if u need me to i will post a link to the thread. G/l
I plugged the turbowerx pump to my car and a power supply and the pump will just pulsate it wouldn't run consistently. Looked on line, but couldn't find much info on these things. All the sites I found are about corvettes or motorcycles.
They all talked about these and for what I understand they have to run consistently. So I know my car battery is dying and the power supply is a cheap one, So I figured I could plug it, into my gaming PC, The power supply on that thing sucks up more juice than a air conditioner.
Here is a quick vid

Everywhere I look only have good things to say about turbowerx, this should solve my turbo dilemma.
SO its good, I will get all this stuff installed on Monday!

I was trying to put the shift linkages back on but one of the links it self was separated, To fix it it was going to be a PITA and I cant take anymore of those right now. So I took a Socket a nut and 3 washers and shoved it all in the link, took a nut and long screw and bolted it down.... and it works.

This is going to have to do, I don't have the time for stupid problems right now.
Took of the turbo to be able to bleed the clutch and also mock up the pump.

And after I installed it I had to take it off again because of course I put it on backwards.
Its been a long day

I just need electronics and tuning right now but I spent the money on the werx pump and buying new glasses. So right now I am poor
So since I cant buy anything tommorow I will finish wiring up the two pumps and the guages. After I will test out the water pump for the turbo.
One advantage is that I can use whatever I want for cooling for the turbo, like water, antifreeze, dexcool, windows washer fluid, liquid nitrogen..... but I havent decided yet.

lol i would just use some antifreeze with some water wetter or some plain water with water wetter to cool it down, i keep forgetting but do you have a wideband yet? i can help you tune it, i did it to my car and you seen the results lol, just remember not the car i got right now, that was just a mood kill, haha, but the one i traded to get this car.
Why not Liquid nitrogen? the thing is not flammable and all have to worry about is pressure. The whole cooling for the turbo holds about a liter of fluid and that not enough to go
.
Seriously though on my motor in the summer I will run 50/50 for the coolant. I never had any heating issues before and even with the turbo I don't believe I have to upgrade my cooling for what I am going to be doing. The biggest reason I am cooling the turbo separate is to not tax my cooling system anymore. As far as coolant on the turbo, like I said it takes less than 2 litters of fluid I could literally use only watter wetter
.....BUT I will try to make a 50/50 mix of water and wetter.
The pump allows me to change its speed by 5 steps and the fastest is at 50 psi which is good since I can change it depending on the temps.

well remember a waterpump usually makes 13psi, thats what says on the rad cap, 50 might just blow the gasket, also i started on my body work, also did you get my texted about honda parts cheap off the site?
Yea I did, I will take a look at the site
There are no gasket so I don't have to worry about that. Water cooling turbos is not particularly very effective, its only really there to help when the engine is shut off and maybe extended trips. My whole reason behind it is just to keep it separate from my radiator. I could just skip the water cooling but I might as well do it since its there. Anyway I will get into further into my water cooling later after I figure out if this is really going to work.
About tuning, nah no wideband yet, as a matter of fact I don't even have an ecu since I had that issue ordering the Hondata. Now I don't know what to get, Neptune or hondata but whatever I decide I will order it together with the wideband off xenocron

how much is the wideband? the one i had for the starlet was only 200 from innovate motor sports and was good, we can tune it right on your street? plus you have very long streets, i had to do mine on a street where people be snitching and was hard but got it afterward.
oh and i get the gasket monday

The wideband go anywhere from 160 to 240, but its going to take me a while to finish this at this point since I have exhausted my funds and this is bill week. I am still not taking any shortcuts so I have to take the next 3 weeks to put the money together to buy what I am missing.
Need to get a Neptune or Hondata ECU, 700cc injectors and a Wideband
I have 2 p28-automatic ECU’s……One p05-automatic and a p06-manual that I will try to get rid off

I am actually very happy that my water-cooling project ended up working. Wired up the pump and ran all the hoses and it flows very well. Checked the turbo afterward to make sure it won’t leak into my engine block and all checked out. Now doing this took a lot of space from my engine bay and it looks a little odd but it works great. The noise it makes also sounds very cool (sounds like running water). Because of the space constraints I have no space for an intake unless I pipe it to the other side of the engine bay. I have a neat idea for that and will mock that up Sunday.
I said this before, this is not from a car, I decided to use this rather than picking up a GM water pump ect, is because of the flexibility it gives me and the pumps last a lot longer with 5 year warranties.

Didn’t get much done this weekend, just finished taking off my AC, and trying to clean up the additional 8 feet of hoses the pumps need, Then just wired stuff in, have a lot to go on the wiring. My fuel pump arrives tomorrow then I will order the rest.

You got that working fast? Did you change your radiator while you had your cylinder head off?
About those boxes, I can’t install them in my car but I will try to see if anybody wants them, also send me the photos of the bodywork.
Yesterday got the car to show about 7 psi of oil pressure for bit, so going to take off the injectors, fuel pump and rail. Going to install the 255 pump, mock the rail until I have a chance to order the 700cc. While I wait for the rest might as well rewire my headlights and start putting the car back together

you are you using for the injectors right now? also i need to get a radiator still, the junk yard has one but no money and no car. i need the intake gasket kit, thermo housing gasket, and a autostore brand name oil change
Right now, it has OBD2 stock injectors just there so it doesn’t leak fuel, while I was cranking the motor they are not plugged in. The 565 I am not going to use, I want to make over 300hp around 6k.
On the tuning I am not going to street tune it, I know you can do it but I don’t have insurance. Just going to tow it to the tuner and tow it back. Have to buy a hitch and put it on one of the trucks.

Going to go with Neptune since money is tight right now and people say good things. I got my fuel pump and will install that later.
Will post on the for sale section later
2 p28 ECU $70 each
1 p06 ECU $40
OEM Fuel pump 1year/7K miles $20

Took off the my speaker box to put in my fuel pump and thing is broken pretty bad, only thing I think off is that it got wet and the weight of speakers buckled it. This is the perfect opportunity to make it over again. Not going to start it over but going to pull all the carpeting off reinforce it and jersey the thing all over again. I can easily add another set of 8 inches on top of the ports and port it to the bottom of the seats.
Anyway the motor has been on hold while I get the funds to finish it, waiting until Friday and hopefully those thing I been keeping an eye on in the marketplace are still there.
Also been looking around to see who I am going to tow this to for tuning

dude my car has neptune **** is freaking awesome man........ very tunner friendly and if u have some idea on how it works you could learn to tune your self. but Neptune FTW........ and just keep up the work **** is hard at times in the end worth it. it looks good tho
There is a hondata on the market for 550 which is the same price the neptune will cost (399+160 for ecu installed). The sad thing is that I have like 3 ECU's sitting in my house but I don't want to risk messing it up.
I have played around with the hondata tuning software and saw all the getting started videos for Neptune RTP, also know someone that has successfully street tuned his car. I just don't want to risk messing it up after so much work

So today decided to install my fuel pump I received about a week ago, I had nothing better to do. So I pulled my fuel pump out and put the new one on the mount thingy, but the sock now faces the other way. Put it in the fuel tank and it wouldn't fit when I pulled it out the sock stayed in there and floated to the back of the tank. I cant reach it WTF do I do NOW!

actually that didnt happen
... anyway everything went in very easily, the mount kit the xenocron pump came with worked well.
That only thing that sucked was that when I pulled out my speaker box it is
all buckled and ugly looking so I destroyed it and pulled out the original cabinet thing the delsol come with to make another mold. Couldn't finish it but this time I am going to mix fiberglass and bondo for the last couple of coats & sand it down. There is shop that does vinyl wraps a few miles from my house and will have them custom vinyl it along with my back window. Time to draw out something nice.

Questions, an automatic P28 ecu on a 5sp car throws a CEL code, but when is it sopposed to? Reason I ask is because I have 3 automatic p28 ECU's and a manual P06. They all work, when installed the car runs fine but all of them but the p06 have a constant CEL. From where the key is put in the ignition and it doesnt shut off. Is this normal I thought constant CEL meant a bad ECU, there is no way I have 3 bad P28's. Two of the p28 were pulled from running cars at the junk yard and the other I bought of a freind.
Other than that, I havent worked on the car but I will try to install the injector on sunday and also cut the bumper. This is almost done
