Default D-Series :: T3 Super 60 ?

what do ya guys think about a built d16z6 running a t3 super60? I ran a few searches and nothing came up...... hard to believe noone is running a super60 though.

I had the turbo on my 2.0 8v VW and got full boost @ bout 3200. What should i expect from the 1.6 16v? any idea? Tryin to figure out if its worth holdin onto for the dseries project.

Many people on this board run super60s on Z6s. It's a very good turbo for that motor IMO. I run a 50 trim and I love it but once I build my block I think regular 60 trim or ruper 60 is next. keep it did you have an ATP kit on the dub?

Yes go for it...I run the 60 trim and i love it, im making awesome power... the super 60 flows a little more and will work just as awesome, decent quick spool and lots of power up top...great turbo for the d16

you can MAKE an atp kit work on a swap . diy is far better though, you'll like the honda much more I would bet. I have done both a few times and I like the D series better myself all though you might miss the low end Tq....until you hit 4k then you just smile and wave at the silly muscle cars

I'm switching from my T3/T4 .63 60 trim to the T3 Super 60 and lowering boost from 9 psi to 6-7 psi.

Cheapest place to buy a T3 Super 60? I'm trying to find one still...

I just picked up a T3 60/48 turbo. How do you guys tell what trim it is. I know it says M11 on the compressor. Oh ya just for ***** and gigles, what kinda WHP do you think the old B18B will put out with that turbo. Sorry for the Hijack.

How will the spool be with the T3 super 60(.48 hot side/.60 cold side) on a D series engine with 8.5:1 compression?

Will it lag too much?

I want something that starts spooling around 3200rpms and reaches full boost around 4200

im also interested in this turbo.....id like to know when it starts to spool by and when's it choke out (if ever )

also im somewhat confused by the terminology. is it to say that a T3 with .48/.60 is a super 60? sorry for the nubness

im the one who was debating on the greddy kit or custom, im planning on going custom and i know the T3 will fulfill my needs but i need rpm referances to narrow it down more
