what year cx? Because the 92-95 cx was a 1.5l 70 hp motor. The newer (96+_) cx's were the same as the dx motor. Either way, however, I would get the ex at least, like ghetto said

well how much do you want to boost?? what are your goals??
if i were you id keep the CX motor and use the $400 to make a custom turbo kit. just get a custom manifold from Tinker219...i think you could use the stock manifold if you have it still just got to make adaptor plate for the turbo to bolt on. then when you have all that...boost around 6-8psi and you should be happy

CX....but toss the engine and tranny (you'll only get like 120whp MAX from this setup)
DX is too heavy
CX with b18c and ITR tranny!!

oh...then ditch the CX...like I said, you'll make 120whp max...not worth the money you'll be spending
If I were you, adn I were spending potentially $3k on a turbo, I'd ditch both engines and consider a B series
