Default cx turbo?

OK a stock cx motor with turbo? Any potential? I searched but since you can't use cx in a search it was difficult. So opinions? Thanks

is it an eg or an ek? d16y7's have potential. any d-series turbo kit will work, might have to change your intake manifold though. if your car is an eg and you have a d15b8, swap it it's worthless

a z6 should cost you as low as $200 if you know what you're doing, and I'm guessing around $600 for the swap to be done for you.

excellent little engine

So it should only be a couple hundred for a z6?
I would put it in myself. O and what about a zc?

Don't try to build that shitty CX motor. The weak spot is the head with that 8v ****. Swap on a 16v vtec or even a non-vtec and go from there. Or if that's too much just put in a whole new 16v engine, but not a VX or HX's. If you were to turbocharge your CX you would only make like 140hp at the crank after 1bar of boost. Not worth it, I say.
