2)There is no hp gain compared to dumping striaght down, but it's actually quieter this way. The longer pipe quiets it and the flexpipe acts as somewhat of a resonator.
3)It sounds better than dumping it under the car, more of the jet sound w/o the exhaust sound, if that makes any sense.
4)The only time fumes will come out is when you're at full boost and the wastegate is open, nothing to worry about. </TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah i shoudn't have opened my mouth
but can u clear this up for me??
if you hit the rev limiter or shift hard wouldn't some flame come out of the waste gate??
i was talking about atmostphere wg dump vs exhaust i thought that open waste gate was better than having go through exhaust

Ok, it's 1.5" stainless pipe and stainless flexpipe. The tip is cut on a 90 deg. bend to get that look. The half after the flexpipe is securely mounted directly to the chassis so when the engine torques the tip doesn't move. As for flames, it depends on what type of rev limiter you are using and how the car is tuned. Flames are cool and all, but most cars don't do it.
I just did this mod on my car. I cut out the flame guard from .090 alum. sheet(easy to bend to the contour of the bumper cover), and attached with stainless button head 1/4 20 bolts. Mine is a little bigger than the one in the picture, but it looks very mean. I'll post a pic up soon.
