That's the hard part, the stuff you don't see. The pipe is two pieces with a deltagate flange on each side to connect the two. There is a 1.5" flexpipe on the second section and the pipe after the flexpipe is secured directly to the chassis. If you don't do it this way then you'll have to have a pretty big hole to clear the pipe when the engine torques. It looks simple from the outside, but it actually takes a lot of time to do it right. I spent a full day making that one. It's all worth it in the end though...

That's the same way i made mine. Two peices, one welded to a flange to the wastegate and a short section of pipe welded to a backplate on the bumper. Then i used a thermo wrapped flexpipe in between. If you just had the pipe free floating in the hole, it would hit all over the place when the motor torques.

I liked to know too.
Does it bother you when you have your window rolled down in traffic?

1. it will shoot out flames... kinda big ones too depending on boost.
2. it will flow better than routing it threw the exhasut
3. open wastegate but cooler since it will be louder on the out side of your car
4. i dunno

1) It shouldn't shoot out flames if you're tuned right. Running too rich can cause flames to shoot out.
2)There is no hp gain compared to dumping striaght down, but it's actually quieter this way. The longer pipe quiets it and the flexpipe acts as somewhat of a resonator.
3)It sounds better than dumping it under the car, more of the jet sound w/o the exhaust sound, if that makes any sense.
4)The only time fumes will come out is when you're at full boost and the wastegate is open, nothing to worry about.

Damn, only Tony could get way with using stainless tubing throughout on EVERYTHING! Is that flexpipe stainless too? LOL! Great job! And pretty welds too!

WOW! I was thinking about doing this and now after seeing this I am definetly going to make it happen. I can't wait to see what happens when I hit the 2-step!

Tony - Is the wategate pipe mounted to the body with a bracket or is it just bolted to the wastegate?

Why the 2 step?? are you going to see full boost on the 2 step?? if so then what are you boosting like 2-3 psi??
