Default Couple of quick question regarding downpipe & wastegate

Just thinking that the O2 hole in the new downpipe is not far down enough to be able to connect to the standard plug? I know when i had my N/A manifold on the O2 hole was quite far down. How do peeps usually get round this? drill a new hole?

Also wondered why this wastegate has 2 vaccum ports on it? No instructions Gonna run 1 to my vaccum manifold and 1 possibly to my manual boost controller??

Thanks

Might want to fab up a bucket under the wastegate. That way when the wastegate falls off, your new bucket will catch it instead of running it over.

At least a cable on the waste gate.Sucks running over your own parts.Anyway a wide band o2 will have a long enough lead for that location.Check out Tial online for your line hookup. http://www.tialsport.com. Support the waste gate down tube and it will last a little longer before it cracks and falls off.

I know the parts are rubbish but gonna roll with what we have until the new manifold and turbo arrive! Thanks for the info regarding the wideband. If i did wanna run with the standard o2 would i just make a new hole further up the downpipe?

ok for the o2 sensor, i got this o2 sensor from autozone or someplace, and they sold some universal o2 sensors that you have to splice the wires and ****, but all u have to do is extend the wires for ur situation, it comes with a plug for your car and you have to connect and soder the wires or just twist them and put some tape on them, like i did they work good since i had it.

wait wtf u could just extend your wires from ur o2 sensor right now huh

Thanks, i'm running Hondata S300 so if i don't really need it i ain't gonna bother. The ECU is just running a basemap at the mo so unsure if i need it until i get to the tuner?

Gonna get him to fit the wideband in the hole instead then if i don't need the standard one.
