Which cooling fans do you guys recommend?? Having an overheating problem when AC is running and also when car is under load.

I live in Jamaica so outside temps are always in the high 90's

Car and mods are below:

96 boosted Type R Integra
fully built B18C block and head
spooling performance ram horn ac comp manifold
mishimoto 3 core half sized radiator
slim fan

Gonna change the fan firstly and see if that helps... don't think the 1 I have i pulling enough cfm's

13" Spal...I will be using this with a custom shroud. SHROUD is the key

 

SPAL Fans work WONDERS... Even in Negril, Monteray, Kingston, anywhere..

 

I have a Spal fan and Go-Autoworks shroud. It works shockingly well. The Spal fan will "Hoover up" small animals and the shroud will direct them through the radiator.

 

spal 30101507, stay away from slimfan.com fans, thats exactly the fan im replacing, the bearings went almost 6 months after i bought it, finally replacing it because the noises are horrific.

 

No problem with the slimfan.com fan here. More than a year running. Shroud makes the difference.

That was not referring to bearing failure, but cooling ability.

 

im running a Zirgo 14in on my half core, works very well!
