Default Cooling Fans?

I'm getting a rev hard 2c for my itr and i was told that i'll need a "slim" radiator/ac fan setup like from flex-a-lite. Anyone do this kit without getting a new fan or have a set up cheaper than the $300 "slim" fan? No I can't live without my ac so please don't tell me to get rid of it. Would a 12 inch single running 1,000 cfm do the trick as well as both fans?

get the flexalight twin integra fan setup (slim line) i used to have them on my car - and they worked great - i never had a problem with overheating and fit nicely between the manifold and the radiator...

i think its worth the investment especially since you "cant live without ac..."

HI, you can also use puller fans, they are suppose to be better they cost around 60 at your local auto store, they go infront instead of the back.

I think you mean "pusher" type.

and yes, you can use pusher type fans...i'm getting one for my civic from jegs...$69.99, 12" fan.

my maxrev manifold forced me to use slimmer fans.
go to your local pepboys or something and buy some hayden fans. they can be used as either puller or pusher fans. use the pusher to make it look nice.
$69.99 and no shipping costs

I don't know if they have "Off Road Warehouse's" where you live, but that's where they carry them where I live.

Whoa!! Hey itr206, how did you mount the fans in the front of the radiator, what is holding it in place. I need to know asap, my radiator just cracked on me so I got a Fluidyne. The radiator is a lot bigger than the stock and plus i'm prepping for the turbo install. Is there enough clearance for the AC conderser??
I need to know so I can get my car running asap.
