know about the subject of which your trying to speak before you make an ASSumption about who has been talking **** and who threw the first blow.

someone could say the same of your posts in any thread, but thats not how it works here. he is obeying the rules here and as such has just as much right to post in any thread as you do.

seriously lets put this into perspective... someone walks up and sucker punches you because they think their better than you. would you just stand there or rollover and let them continue attacking you because it would look more professional or at some point do you fight back? same deal here... and I said it before, I think tial is a stand up person to not let political correctness or the wishes of others drive his actions... its the principle of it imo and I think he is standing up for that.

Ok seriously, you are the biggest nuthugger in this thread.

There's a difference between bickering for no reason and backing up your products.

7 posts after the initial question of "why does my Synapse BOV have compressor surge?" we get this.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by TiAL &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">nothing we didn't already know about </TD></TR></TABLE>

Real helpful, isn't it? This isn't a thread about TiAL, or why TiAL is better/worse than Synapse. There is no reason he or anyone else should be in this thread other than to help the OP. Read, NO REASON.

I personally use both Synapse and TiAL products. And, believe it or not, I am happy with both of them. My Synapse BOV fixed my boost leak and compressor surge issues that I was having with another BOV, my TiAL wastegate has worked well since the day I bought it. There is no reason to argue, both products work and work well, there is no reason for four pages of this **** in a thread that someone made to get help.

So, either help out, or **** off.

Ok, today I tapped a new fitting into the charge pipe for port C and rerouted everything else between 2 ports on my intake manifold so the bov could have its own port. This didn't fix the problem but I can say it may have improved slightly. It still flutters once or twice before blowing off.

So could the vacuum line be too long? It's about 2 feet long but there really anything I do about that unless I drill and tap another port closer to it. The line is about the same size id as one of the fittings on the bov.

It's still making ~-10psi vacuum after making these changes.</TD></TR></TABLE>

^ This is the OPs last post. Either try to help him out or just keep your comments to yourself. No one cares anymore about this stupid arguement.

OP - You really want the vacuum lines as short as possible. I would also suggest getting yourself a vacuum block, you'll thank yourself later. Can you take a picture of your vacuum setup too? You may need to try only running the vacuum to one of the rear ports instead of both of them. Try a few combinations, if nothing works post pics so I can see what's going on. This BOV is really sensetive to vacuum leaks, so double and triple check that.

to the OP...

Your vacuum lines. Those kinda look like the cheap set you get in a kit. If so... let me point out, those expand like balloons compared to standard rubber. Just because they are so soft. Seen alot of people have problems with those and anything boost related. Just a thought Hope it helps rule something else out or help sove your problem

at least I am mature enough to come up with something better than attempting to insulting people, luckily I dont give a rats dick about what you or any of the other cheerleaders think of me.

I apologized to the OP for the off topic and tried to set this back to the question at hand in almost everyone one of my posts in this thread after synapse started in on tial wastegates as usual. though some people just cannot help but reply to me apparently since I obviously hit a nerve, truth tends to do that.

back to the topic cause I dont wanna waste more than 30 seconds of time on your drivel. good day.

Problem Fixed!!

In case anyone was watching this thread, my bov ended up being defective. From whiat I could tell, the defective one had too much spring tension (noticeably more than my new one) on the piston which was causing it not to open properly.

Thanks to Synapse for promptly sending me a new one.

Cool to hear that it got fixed. Could have been a one, maybe two page thread though

Nutswingers, instigators, bleh bleh bleh.

I've read WAY too much on the beginning thread of this up to now and can say it's official...I'm done.

Everyone knows tials reputation and doesn't question the customer service. Probably all good people working there, and definately for their service.

Synapse is growing it seems and they are giving some good customer service, as shown here. It seems that the people there are doing what they can to serve their customers to the best of their ability.

All in all, imo, synapse is working through some issues that growing companies have to deal with. Tial is already there and on top of their game. I would love to read into a tech question about a bov or wastegate without a bunch of bickering. Keep it in the video threads bashing on each other.

Again to the op, glad you have your problem fixed
