I have a 92 civic d16z6 vitara build running on chrome and lately its been buring oil when off the gas coasting it will put out great puffs of smoke (oil) and will smoke a little while just cruising and i think its my turbo seals (ebay t3) but would like to verify because under boost it dosent smoke at all... Compression check came back good... thanks

just take off a charge pipe and check for oil.
should be pretty easy to spot.

bad valve seals wont lower compression number... if it smokes on decel, then its most likley your intake valve stem seals... you can change them on the car without pulling the cylinder head..

like 30 $ for seals and you need a valve spring compressor...remove the springs and change out the seals on the top of the guides

My car has the same problem. Brand new GT28RS on mine and def not the turbo. I'd put a catch can setup on it if you don't have one but it's probably your valve seals.
