My issue is i am trying to find a clutch to match the engine power output which best guess would be 300whp. However, considering that clutches are rated in tq, it leaves me a bit on SOL side since that number could be in a very wide range. To add to the mix... my set up doesn't use the stock pedals or master cylinder so trying to determine feel based on posts is also a pain

I may need to buy a clutch, use it and change it later based on it slipping or it being way too stiff (dont want a blown knee). This may be that one time where it would make sense to buy something cheaper now and pay more for something later once i can determine how well it works.

Any one have any suggestions on where to start? Really anything would help.

 

For 300whp you need something like a full face stage 3 from comp clutch or fx300 from clutch masters unless you plan on doing a lot of drag racing on slicks then I would personally recomend stepping up to a 6 puck stage 4 from either company. I prefer CM but comp is good too.

 

For the project. Stay with a simple FX300 Clutchmasters or Exedy Stage II 08950B.
