Default Check out my oil return!! Is it ok????

I can tighten up wth 45 degree fitting off of the turbo so it may pull the return up some more.

Tell me what ya think???

some peopel say no kinks or "up angled" return lines allowed. you should be okay but that lil elbow and ur fitting facing down may be a problem. if you ever see smoking or burning oil of any kind then that's ur best bet of the problem.

Swivel the bottom AN fitting so it angles out, away from the turbo more. I bet that will help some.

thanks for all the replies.

This is oil return of course.

Muckman, I'll try to angle the swivel fitting a little more like you said and I like someone else said I will screw the 45 degree fitting coming off the turbo more, I just didn't want to tighten it all down yet. The fitting that scres onto the 45 degree fitting will also be able to screw up some more as well.

This oil return is off my old setup, I'm just hoping I can use it without modifying it!!

Is it touching the downpipe? If not it looks fine to me. I prolly would see if you could bring the pipe up a little to make it a little more downhill.

yea it touches but I'm not worried about that. I wrapped the downpipe AND I have a firesleeve for the oil return.

I'm only concerned with the angle of the return line and what I could do to make it better.

that bung in the oil pan has way to much of an angle. the oil will not drain back. it is going to act like a trap in a plumbing system under your sink.n you should atleast have it feeding straight back into your oil pan.

I'll try making the fitting going onto the pan more striaght or better yet, slightly away from the DP instead of up.

Thanks!!

My return line is exactly like yours. Been 6,000+ miles and still running good.
