Retune after Big Intercooler and Charge Pipe Install
Just wanted to let you all know that I needed to retune my car after I upgraded my DSM sidemount and crappy rubber hoses and put in a huge bar and plate front mount and 2.25 in charge pipes. I knew it would make a difference, but did not expect it to be so great. Over all my A/f's raised 1 - 1.5 points. from 11.5 to about 12.5 - 13 in boost and my idle was much leaner.
So i added about 10-15% more fuel via dsm 450's and got things down back to normal.
The throttle response is acutally much better and I can honeslty say this car feels faster, pulls harder earlier than before and doesnt seem to fall off topend as much as it used to.
The DSM BOV makes all sorts of racket now. It doesnt shut up makes more noise than before about everywhere.
Guess i really am pushing more o2!
so FYI - retune your car or atleast check your a/f if you decide to put a big 'ol IC on it
