Catch can setup...Is this right? (pic)

I have 2 catch cans, the valve cover holes go in to the catch cans, and the catch cans drain back to the block plugs.
Is that right?
I just have straight lines running to and from, the can is baffled and filtered.
Do I need any sort of check valves or anything?
Also, I wasn't sure what to do with my smog canister, but we have emissions here so I just ran the hose to the intake manifold. That ok?

That setup is good...
I have had drain back on my car for over 3 years and daily drive it... Tony Palo has drain backs on his 1000+ whp integra running 8's and hasnt had problems... I think the pros clearly outweigh the cons.

ever drain a filtered catch can? it's not pretty and I wouldn't want that going back into my engine, i'd rather keep adding oil when it gets alittle low.
side note: i'm pretty sure tony palo is changing his oil after every track day.

Depending on how I drive the car my blow-by ranges from decent-to-nasty. I definitely don't want the nasty stuff back into the engine.

right and are you sure he runs a drain back and not a slash cut to the exhaust?
something about letting milkshake back into my motor doesn't sit right with me.
you are better off using those plugs on the back of the block to relieve more pressure as there is way more crankcase pressure in well, the crankcase.

why are you running 2 catch cans? if its a mild build you dont need 4 lines coming off the valve cover just 2 and 2 off the block ditch the whole drain back thing. imho its stupid. i would spend the money and get a T1 catch can and call it a day!
Plan to be around 500hp with a gt35r. Motor made 690 on race fuel with the previous owner.
Yeah ok it's not a mild build lol I would just do a T1 catch can with the 4 on the valve cover and the 2 to the block and be done! Same setup I just picked up!

I have drain valves for these cans. I may just use them for awhile and see what kind of blow-by I get. Would probably end up having to get another catch can though for the block or just T'ing my valve cover lines.. lol

I will post a pic tonight. Car goes to in to get the motor tested and a quick N/A tune tomorrow. Have to wait a couple weeks for the rest of the turbo setup.
