I would recommend the drain back like HybridcivicLS-T is saying. It adds an extra vent and you don't have to worry about draining it.

Every motor is different, some will have more blow by then others. Especially if its a build motor. If you have a healthy stock motor you probably won't get as much blow by, so you can probably get away with the valve cover kit.

The motor I built ran fine with just valve cover. Never burned oil, never over filled a catch can even after 3000 miles there was barely anything there.

Ok, so I talked to Tony and he said I would be good with just the valve cover one (Which I would like because I just think it would be easier... but I have a ramhorn manifold so I cant do it off the front of the vc but I was reading that the back of the vc isnt baffled so more oil comes out, will I fill the can quickly if I do it off the back?

yea back of the valve cover isn't baffled, some people run fitting of the back but I don't like it. Never tried it, might work, might not. You still might be able to run in from the front of the valve cover, it depends on the manifold. Sometimes it can be a bitch but you can move the fittings around to make room. Make sure you test fit stuff 10 times before cutting into the valve cover.

I bought this one a year ago for 53 shipped brand new. http://jdmultimate.com/Store/Product...Make=UNIVERSAL
Put 2 filters on top. I'm running 2 -12 lines from the back of the valve cover, the one clear line back to the back of the block. Took some modding of the can but it looks and works well. I'll try to post a pic if I can figure it out.

yeah thats exactly what i'm looking at doing...but no drainback to the block, or should i? does it fill up quickly because the back of the vc isnt baffled or does the drainback fix that?

My can isn't baffled. I heard of putting steel wool in the can to baffle it. But I don't see what the point is, unless you were off-roading. I change my oil religiously so I don't worry about it draining back into the motor. I have a clear tube running back into the block and it was a while before I even seen oil residue in the drain tube.

I think he was reffering to the lack of baffles on the backside of the valve cover......not the baffles inside the can

Well I guess that means that you can run lines of the back of the valve cover. I was thinking about running in them of the back before but I wasn't sure if it would push oil in because there is no baffles in the back of valve cover.
