Default Will a 1/8npt union bolt to the oil feed line off the block?

Would the 1/8 npt fitting bolt into my block for the oil feed line with no problems? Some people say that the 1/8npt doesnt fit right and that i need a 1/8bsp fitting. can i just bolt the 1/8 npt right to the block without using the 1/8bsp adapter?

You can but you may strip the threads inside the block. Nothing a tap wont fix.

i'm using a 1/8" bspt male union and then i thread that into a 1/8" npt female union... i wouldn't try to put npt threads in your block without re-tapping it.

dawg... dont be a HARD ***. just go to Auto Zone or Pep boys and buy yourself a pack of those NPT fittings. They have one packet thta has the BSPT on there for this application. If you do it the GHETTO way you're liable to damage your threads and then a whole world of issues will spawn from this.

Spend the little money and have a peace of mind with the right fitting!

Yup, he's talking about the sunpro adaptor kit that you'll find in a little bag at Autzone. There's one 1/8" bpst fitting in there that'll screw right in for the oil feed.
