catch can question..
well i used the freeze plug in the blue circle to delete the black box
i was planning on running a hose from the spot where the red arrow is pointing to a catch can and a hose from the catch can to the IM (there is no vent on the catch can)
will this be ok?/ be able to vent enough?
another question i have is about my turbo oil feed line. as you can see in the pic above, the line comes out by the IM and then swoops around under the turbo to a 90deg bend to the turbo
here are some pics so you can see what im talking about
my question, is it bad for the oil feed line to go down and then have to travel uphill to the turbo?
(like on the return line you cant go uphill to the oil pan....)

Re: catch can question..
not sure why you have the line go down and then back up... just run it right to the turbo between the compressor and the manifold runner. zip tie or mount it to something sturdy to keep it from sitting on the manifold.
on the catchcan stuff, yes that will vent but not all that well. look just to the left of the oem oil pressure sensor, that big alan head plug comes out and you can thread fittings into that to run to the catchcan. i think there is another one behind where you have the aftermarket oil pressure sending unit. you can get the nipples that thread in there from honda, i believe they come on h23 prelude si's nonvtec from the factory.
on my car i have it run from both of those ports on the back to my catchcan. i plugged that little nipple on the back (its a 1/8th) and just used a cheap little autozone air filter to put over the nipple on my valvecover

Re: catch can question..
ok cool
but as far as the feed line goes ..i ran it that way so there wouldnt be as sharp of an angle
would i run into problems if i left it like it is?

Re: catch can question..
1. remove the hex plugs and run lines from there
2. get a vented catch can
3. cap/plug the nipple you indicated with the red arrow.
4. remote mount that oil pressure sensor before it cracks and leaks
5. your current feed line will work but as others said there is no need for it to be so long.

Re: catch can question..
i have the part numbers for the nipples from Honda and washer that replace the hex plugs on the back of the block. sounds stupid but i think the part number was from an 88 civic sedan. anyways... pm me if you need it

Re: catch can question..
there is a picture of them in the honda parts bag floating around somewhere.
fitting - 11107-PK2-003
washer - 12207-634-300
alternatively you could get AN fittings from B&R. that way you can run some -10AN hose.

Re: catch can question..
thanks man ...ill prob just run w/ one hex plug to the catch can and leave the other hole on the catch can open as a vent for now untill i get a vented catch can..
but what do you mean ..remote mount the oil pressure sensor ? you talkin bout the sensor left of the oil filter, right of the hex plug? ..dont really see why it would crack or leak there..

the back of the block where the oem pressure sensor mounts is very sensitve to cracking. ive had it happen myself. i think the oem sensor is supposed to torque to 12 ftlbs. needless to say it cracked at about 15 ftlbs. BE CAREFUL when tightening anything into that spot

Re: catch can question..
no I was refering to the aftermarket sensor hanging on the sandwich plate. also the sensor can be damaged by the vibration. i think it would be best to add a small length of braided hose

Re: catch can question..
this may sound kind of stupid but that sensor on the sandwich plate doesnt have to be wired up in order for the sandwich plate to function and send oil to my turbo does it?

Re: catch can question..
that sensor is for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. if you dont have a gauge then i would remove the sensor and plug it with a 1/8" npt plug. your turbo will get oil regardless.
if you are going to keep the sensor I would use something like this to connect it to the oil sandwich plate
