Catch Can Question
I have an H22 on boost. I have an all star catch can.
Where exactly do I hook it up? Its hard to follow 5 year old tutorials with no pictures.
Is it pcv valve- catch can - intake manifold
or
pcv - catch can - other valve cover nipple

Re: Catch Can Question
do you have a picture of the can? is there just one line running from it? is it sealed or does it have a filter on top
when installing a catch can you should remove the pcv valve. your catch can chould never be hooked to the intake manifold. the point is to relieve crankcase pressure so it needs to be hooked to the crankcase. either the valve cover or back of the block.

Re: Catch Can Question
you could but...
1. you need to find some kinda of fitting or adapter for the pcv hole to a hose fitting. or gut the pcv valve to work as a straight hose barb
2. they are kinda small so you get less venitlation.

Re: Catch Can Question
Hey i know this is an old thread, but the same question still applies and feel its unneccesary to create a whole new thread. so anyways, the diagram that i drew... is this one of the ways to make it work? or ami retarded with the catch can proccess lol. sorry never really looked in depth as to when im looking under someones hood. i feel this is the most reasonable In my opinion. atleast it works out in theory.
i plan on being boosted within a few months and was looking at the some catch cans and this dude is selling one that has 2 inlets going into the can some what like this. i just wanna run a catch can without really having to weld stuff and what not (atleast not yet) maybe in the future when i decide i need more power :p lol
thanks in advance!
