Car not boosting fully
First off, the other day my idle was high so I took off my fitv and screwed in back down a little to fix my high idle. It did fix it. The white cap was only on by a thread. I screwed it as far down as I could and idle is right at 1000 rpms.
Later in the day I noticed my BOV was not sounding like it usually did. I Looked and seen the nipple popped out of it. So I pushed it back in and RTV'd it up and its holding fine. But the sound was still different. After research I figured that the nipple had just been loose and the noise I was used to hearing at low rpms was turbo surge ( not good) and that by fixing the nipple it let the BOV work properly.
Now, My car usuallu can boost to 21 psi without a problem. Gain set at 9 and the other setting at 53 on my Blitz dual solenoid boost controller. With the setting at 60 it runs at 9 psi wastegate. 53 is 16-18 psi. Now it wont boost above 12 psi unless I take it down to a setting of 49. Even then it only goes to 1 Bar so there has to be a problem somewhere. before If I dropped it to 51 it would hit 1.5 bar and cut out. All clamps are tight and vacuum hoses are on properly. No dry rot or anything like that. Hose was off on charcoal canister but i fixed it and it helped slightly but not much.
The car has also be backfiring a little (not overly loud but I can hear it) when I let off gas in low rpms while shifting. MAINT REQUIRED light also is on. The turbo also feels like it has extra lag.
I am stumped. I thought it may be spark plugs but usually when they go bad the car misses at 14 psi and up. Whereas now it wont even hit 14psi to misfire and cut out. What should I be looking for here? The car has used bkr7e plugs for 4 years now. Has under 15000 on the Built motor. Plugs no more than 2000 miles old. Same goes for wires (NGK Blues) cap and rotor replaced 6000 ago. Any other info needed feel free to ask.

Do u have a wideband on the car? Any changes in the afr? If the car was tuned with it having a boost/vac leak and now there are no leaks it could have thrown the tune off quite a bit. As for the boost controller you could bypass the blitz one and try a manual boost controller to see if it fixxes the boost issue
The car was tuned by jeff evans about 4 years ago. I really cant see the BOV nipple being that loose for four years without falling out. And by fixing the leak I should not have as much lag. But I do have lag and It was with the BOV nipple loose and with it in.
I am caught between thinking
1)something I did along the way is causing the issue
and
2) that nothing I did caused it and the problem is in a completely different location.
I am going to check and make sure my methanol nozzle did not somehow come loose causing a leak when the sun pops up tomorrow.
What could happen to the boost controller that I could look for that would cause this. Valve not shutting the whole way?

the plate on the fast idle thermo valve had a leak. Sealed it up. Pulled off my blow off valve. The gasket I had on it was leaking. Sealed it back up and then everything was fine for a pull or two on low boost.
I then turned it up to high boost and had ignition break up. Put in fresh plugs and it was fine.
HOWEVER.....
I then got a CEL minutes after this. Read the code. Code 7 TPS. Throttle response sucks. Still mild backfiring. Can I simply check the adjustment on it or do I need to gt a new one? Not sure what all the problems would be with this code.
