Default Cant hold Boost in second gear??? HELP

Well I have this weird problem!

In first gear I cant really hit past 5-6PSI but I herd that normal!

then second gear, I hit 8.5psi(what its suppose to be) at about 5k RPM but then by 7k it has dropped to 6psi! Why is that

then 3rd gear, holds at 8.5 right till about 6.5K then drops to 7-8psi or so

4th gear hold boost right till redline
and so does 5th gear!

What do you guys think my problem is? I have a manuel boost control and an internal wategate if that helps?

thanks
Tyler

Try removing the MBC, and see how it runs...otherwise, I'm guessing you're leaking boost somewhere or theres not enough fuel....check all lines, fittings, and clamps and stuff...see how things go..Good Luck

sounds like a boost leak. what's odd is that I have an exhaust leak and I still hit full boost(7psi, though it was 9!) in 1st gear...so, I doubt it's an exhaust leak. it could be that your wastegate is opening too soon and not reaching its peak fast enough to see it in first.

well second gear goes right up to 9psi but then falls to 7psi!! I dont get it!

by the way I have a 2 1/4 wrap arround exhaust. and my turbo manifold is ports matched soits not perfect!

could that be the problem!

What turbo setup are you running? If the turbo is too small it could cause this.
