I've gotten so much conflicting advice over the past couple weeks, I'm very confused as to what I should get. First, some background. I'm looking to change my fuel setup from the stock injectors, 12:1 vortec fmu, and inline fuel pump, to something safer. I want to safely run 10 psi, netting me about 250 whp on my drag kitted b18b.

That said, what I'm looking to run is an apex'i s-afc and larger injectors with the fmu still in place. No hack. Also, I know Hondata or EMS would be a safer, more driveable choice, but I don't think for my modest goals it's necessary.

Anyway, I'm first debating injector size. DSM 450's are cheap, but some people think they are too large. Has anyone run into trouble with these on an s-afc, fmu setup? 310's would be the alternative, but at more than double the cost.

I'm also very confused about the injector clips I'll need for my OBD2, 98 Integra. I've heard I can either use OBD-0 clips or OBD-1 clips, but then I've heard the OBD-1 clips need modification, and the OBD-0 are an exact fit? What's the story here?

Is the 12:1 disk going to give me a too high fuel pressure at 10 psi? I'd like to stick with this disk rather than going to an 8:1 for simplicity, but safety is more important.

Also, what're the specs on the necessary resistors? I'd like to just pick them up at my local radio shack.

I think the 450's will be fine. Just run a 4:1 fmu, the s-afc, and intank fuel pump. You won't need high fuel pressure supplied by the inline pump.
I'm runing 310's and a 4:1 fmu. I have a sfc installed (set at 0) that I will be using tomorrow to tune my air/fuel ratio on the dyno.

If you think 450cc DSM injectors are too big, you could also go 380cc or 390cc DSM injectors that are available on the automatic transmission 1st and 2nd generation turbo DSM's respectively. Since they are stock injectors you should be able to find them for about the same cost as the 450cc injectors if not less.

The resistors you need to get are 10watt 10ohm, they look like ceramic rectangles....

Before I took apart my DRAG III B16A2, I was running RC 310cc's, 10:1 FMU, 255 lph Holly in-tank pump without a V-AFC. It ran rich as hell, boosted 10-11 psi for over a year, and put down 251whp/189 tq @ 10 psi.

iu would recommend a walbro in tank 255 lph fuel pump, vafc, 310 cc injectors because 450cc are cheap dont get me wrong but that if more than you will every need based on your goals listed. try and find a set of obd1 legend injectors which are 310cc. the 450cc are way too rich especially in the mid-range they do tend to break up a bit while cruising but when the pedal is to the floor you wont notice it other than the fact that you're wasting your gas on a daily basis.

If safety is more important then run Hondata. Its not much more than an AFC. Mgmt is the # key to any setup!!!

first off get a hondata.

second 450's ARE NOT too big! @ $75 you can't go wrong

drop the fmu you will run too rich.

insatall an intank pump. simple, straight forward and will support alotta PWR

just do the AFC hack if your gonna install one anyway. I can't understand why you wouldn't want to anyway

injector clips are a joke get OBD-1 clips and "modify" them.
modification consists of slicing out the small plastic tab in the middle of the clip, using a razor blade. I repeat this is a JOKE to perform, once you see the two things together you will know what I mean. When you are done they fit like factory.
