Default block heater with turbo

i'm planning my turbo install in about a month, and looking under the hood today i noticed that the block heater cord (i live in canada so i have one) enters the block right next to the B18B1 marking, which is right where my compressor housing is going to sit.

anyone else notice this problem? do i need to run the compressor on the driver side instead?

what did you fellow winter-drivers do?

hehe, -10 fahrenheit. that's normal here from about dec to march. with the wind chill factor we had about -45 last week. so needless to say, i can't go without my block heater.

anyone else have a bllock heater and a turbo?

PS. not trying to brag about how cold it is here, just saying that you don't have it that bad. i wish i thought -10 was cold!

i have a Lovefab shorty. haven't done a test fit yet, but it looks like it will hold the turbo pretty far away from the block. i think it will work if i put the compressor on the drivers side.

NO ONE ELSE HAS A BLOCK HEATER AND A TURBO?
