I don't think it gets that cold down here in PA. I drove my old turbo civic the one that got stolen up to my winter house in old forge NY and it was *** cold out and did not have any problems.

Block heater will not fit with the turbo there. I tried it.
Unless of course you are running the sidewinder type manifolds.

Drove my car last winter. Went down to -30C a couple of times. The car started fine without block heater.

That doesn't have anything to do with winter driving though, because that is good advice no matter what the temperature is.
