Default my turbo is hitting my block

drag t3/t4 turbo doesnt clear my b18c1 block looks like im gonna have to grind some of the block away. the part the turbo is hitting on the block doesnt look liek its acually the block though it looks more like a fin on the block and not too important. so im gonna gran away about 1/4 inch first that should take care of it. i was curious if anyone else had this same problem and what they did. i searched for topics abot turbo to block clearance and also turbo hits block and i found nothing. any insight guys?>

happens all the time, its just casting webbing, you can grind it all away if you want. Just dont go INTO the block. It serves no purpose.

my turbo faces the other direction and I had to hack the motor mount. that was fun.

a friend of mine turned the turbo around and used a half radiator, see if that would work for you

naqw cant do that, if i do that then my down pipe will be reversed and be coming out the fron of the car. the best thin i can do is just grind away that cast webbing little by little for it to clear. to me it only looks like about 1/4 of an inch is all it would take. maybe half inch max.
