BWR downpipes?
I'm trying to order a downpipe from BWR for their top mount b-series manifold and they are "indefinite backorder". Anyone know whats going on? I'd like to purchase one but looks like i'm gonna have to have one fab'd up.

^ I found out today from 2 separate vendors that indeed they are backordered. I did message them via Facebook and all I was told was to call or email.

I have no idea what why you would buy a down pipe from them.
Or manifold

No issues with any of the BWR products I have had. Im running their ramhorn, downpipe, dump tube along with some of their other stuff.
Im not sure if I just get lucky with every product I get from them or what. I know that back in the day the quality had issues but everything I have bought over the last 1-2 years has been fine.

All BWR product are made in the USA from good stainless. I don't know if its always been this way but their current manifolds/downpipes look great.

Then they took a few of the Mitsubishi, DSM and Nissan designs that AFI had and pushed them even more. They won't do the Porsche stuff because they know that the customer would never buy it. Different level of client.

Re: BWR downpipes?
Worst company I've dealt with, my ramhorn had nasty barbs on the runner ports from the head and again when the flange meets the turbo. The down pipe I bought was missing the vband clamp and apparently precision uses a special type, never got it or even a repy. Last is the final straw I got all this stuff at once so no one "had" me over and over, the catch can set missing 2 bungs and all mismatched/half opened boxes the best part was looked like someone poured it in the box and jumped on it to make it fit. All these claims are backed in my build thread just so it doesn't come off as i'm a band wagoner, trash products that are blatant replicas just look at their LCA's cough F7 what what.

And no offence to those who like the stuff, if you're familiar with full-race/or some of the companies that make the hood exits for all motor K's(myers etc) you'd be down on this crap too that's what so many miss. Granted it's not all crap but the vast majority of people will come down on it if you mention it just look here, it's not even just their products search around and you'll see.

Re: BWR downpipes?
I did end up having someone local fab me up a down pipe. I will use their manifold since 1) I bought it new for a good price and 2) I don't have the funds or the patience to buy and wait for one from a better company to come in. Worse comes to worse, I'll get a hot parts kits from full-race, sheepy, JDL, or another company with a great track record and who can get back to me if something happens.

So did you ever try emailing or calling BWR directly? Seems like it would have been easier/faster than contacting 2 separate vendors and creating this thread

^right?
Everytime I say "contact the company directly" I always get some reply like "I never thought of that." Calling the company will always yield better results than posting on a web forum or contacting 3rd party distributors (who likely get their product from a wholesaler and not direct from the mfg)
